We have noticed that over the last 20 or so years the Church has more or less stopped preaching the gospel. In fact many ‘Christians’ don’t even know what the good news is! Churches seem more concerned with promoting their pet programmes and maintaining the comfortable status quo than they do about obeying the Great Commission.

There is often lack of challenge and lack of pastoral care. People are assumed to be OK just because they turn up on a Sunday. The measure of spiritual health is sometimes tithing (even though it is nothing to do with Christianity). You don’t believe me? Check out this link.
